Digital Tech

Digital Technology is all-pervasive in our lives – at work, at home and at pay. It is both ubiquitous and transformative. But, it can also be addictive and overwhelming.

We are in the middle of a massive social experiment that is ever-changing and developing with compounded technological advancements. And, we don’t yet quite know the positive and negative long-term implications of its social, developmental, psychological, cognitive and emotional use.

In each of the areas we focus on, we explore the good, the bad and the ugly of the collision of digital technology and human psychology and behaviour.

As CyberPsychology is a new area in the realm of understanding human behaviour, academic research is always lagging way behind,  current reality so we’re doing our best to keep up with the things we learn along the way.

Note: This site is a ‘work in progress’, so it is in constant ‘build mode’ and constant flux. We are all learning and growing our knowledge base, so keep coming back if you want to find out more.
